NCBN CREED

We are the men and women of Nashville Christian Business Network. We are committed to conducting ourselves and our business in a way that is consistent with biblical principles and is pleasing to God. We wake each morning and give thanks to God for another day that we might serve Him in our business endeavors and are grateful for the role of leadership that He trusts us with. We seek the Holy Spirit to fill our day with joy, wisdom, and prosperity as we enter our workplace. Throughout the day we are committed to offer encouragement, lend a helping hand, and be a beacon of light and kindness to those that God places in our midst. When the work day has ended, we are committed to spending time with our family and serving our community and church. Our prayer each night is that God will re-energize us through our sleep, wake us the next day, and empower us to have a positive impact in someone's life tomorrow.

As a group, our mission in ministry is to provide opportunities for Christian businessmen and businesswomen to grow spiritually and financially, to encourage others to attend and be an active member of their local church, and to be used by God in their church and in the business community. Our common daily goal is to be more Christ-like in thought and in deed as we utilize our gifts, share our experiences, and assist others in need. We are committed to being held accountable to one another as Christian businessmen and businesswomen. We gather in fellowship, pray for one another’s spiritual and financial success, and seek Devine guidance toward our responsibility in forming a voice for God in the business community.

I am a Christian....

When I say... "I am a Christian"
Im not shouting "Im clean living."
I'm whispering "I was lost,
Now I'm found and forgiven."

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
and need his strength to carry on.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
and need God to clean my me… Continue

Thank God for Christian Networking!

I have been laid-off from the construction management industry twice in the last 8 months. Through my friends at NCBN and 48days (thanks Marilyn M.), I was encouraged to look into a freelance writing web site. I did so, and within one week I was earning money from my home office by writing web page content.

At the same time, a message on 48days.net provided a contact that has been giving me construction consulting work for the last two months.

The freelance writing may become a full-time job t… Continue

The FIREMAN...

The FIREMAN...

I teach that Yahushuah (Jesus)
is the Saviour of the world-

and that he can not be
SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD-
and not
SAVE THE ENTIRE WORLD

I get replies that Christ
can be the Saviour of the world,
and yet
NOT SAVE THE ENTIRE WORLD

They give me this type of proof:

When a fireman goes into a burning building to save trapped people,
what happens if these trapped people refuse to be saved?

Is the fireman not still a fireman
simply because some do not wish to be saved?

Here we see… Continue

Jesus Saves Wife

Lori was on her way to her office last week when she stopped at a red light. She talks to Jesus on her way to work everyday. On this particular day, she heard a voice clearly say to her, "When the light turns green, don't go." When the light turned green she began to count 1001, 1002, horns were honking, she sat counting and when she counted 1003 a car ran the red light and raced through the intersection at about 60 miles per hour. That car would have hit her in the driver side door. I am so glad I have a wife who talks to Jesus...so glad I have a wife who listens when He talks...so glad I have a wife! Thank you Jesus...thank you! - Joe Loesch
